Aman Arora Slams Pratap Singh Bajwa Over ‘Termite’ Remark, Calls It an Insult to Not Just Sangrur, But Punjab’s Pride

Bajwa Has Lost Control of His Words; Doesn’t Know What and How to Speak on Public Platforms

Chandigarh News (April 7): Punjab Cabinet Minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Aman Arora has strongly hit back at Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa over his remark in which he termed Sangrur and AAP as ‘termite’. Arora said that Bajwa Sahib is suffering from some kind of disease, due to which he does not understand when to speak, what to say and how. He added that Bajwa’s statement reflects his frustration and his hatred towards the people of Punjab.

Taking Bajwa to task, Aman Arora said that the land he is associating with ‘termites’ is the sacred soil that has given birth to great warriors like Shaheed Udham Singh, religious figures like Sant Baba Atar Singh Ji, and Sant Seva Singh Thikriwala and many movements. By insulting this holy land, Bajwa has hurt not just Sangrur but the sentiments of the entire Punjab. He said Bajwa should issue an unconditional apology to the people of Punjab.

Dismissing Bajwa’s claims of forming the Congress government in 2027 as “Mungerilal’s beautiful dreams,” Arora said that Congress leaders are living in a misconception. Taking a jibe, he said that while Congress was reduced to just 18 seats last time, in the 2027 elections it will struggle even to reach double digits. The people of Punjab clearly understand that the path to the state’s prosperity lies only with the Aam Aadmi Party.

Aman Arora further claimed that Sangrur is the very place from where Congress’s decline began and the party was pushed to the margins. He warned that in the 2027 Assembly elections, the aware people of Punjab will completely wipe out Congress and will respond to such arrogant statements through the power of their vote.
