Arvind Kejriwal appeals for nationwide support as floods hit Punjab

Chandigarh: Floods have caused widespread damage across 12 districts of Punjab, prompting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal to urge people across the country to extend support to those affected.

In a post on X, Kejriwal said Punjab has always stood at the forefront whenever the nation faced a crisis, but now, in its time of need, the state was not receiving adequate help. He appealed to citizens to assist Punjabis in every possible way during this difficult time.

Kejriwal added that all AAP MPs and MLAs have donated their one month’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He called upon others to contribute as well.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party announced that its leaders in Delhi will launch a door-to-door campaign to collect relief materials for flood victims in Punjab.
