Cabinet Minister dedicates three new roads worth Rs. 27 lakh in Ekta Vihar Colony

Development project fulfilled major demand of residents, ensure better connectivity

Jalandhar News (Pawan Dhupar): Punjab Horticulture and Defence Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat on Sunday inaugurated three newly constructed roads in Ekta Vigar Colony in ward no 57, fulfilling the one of the major demands of this locality.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Minister said these three new roads were build at an outlay worth Rs. 27.18 lakh and will greatly benefit residents, enhancing road connectivity in this area. He said the development project has fulfilled a major demand of Ekta Vihar Colony.

Mr. Bhagat reiterated the Punjab Government’s commitment to holistic development under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, adding that adequate funds are being allocated to ensure timely and quality execution of all development works. “There is no dearth of funds when it comes to the welfare of the people and improving infrastructure” he said.

The Minister emphasized that the government is working on multiple projects to upgrade basic amenities, including roads, water supply, and street lighting across the state.

Meanwhile, area councillor Kavita Seth thanked the Minister Mohinder Bhagat for fulfilling the major demand of this ward. She mentioned that this road project was completed within two months, thereby reflecting upon swift government action addressing people’s concerns.
