Jalandhar News: In another move forward in the fight against drugs under ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh,’ the Commissionerate Police Jalandhar has executed targeted operations throughout the Commissionerate Jalandhar jurisdiction. These efforts culminated in the apprehension of six suspects implicated in drug trafficking activities. Consequently, four FIRs were lodged under the NDPS Act, resulting in the seizure of 27.5 grams of heroin and 80 intoxicant capsules.
Moreover, in alignment with its ongoing initiative to establish Jalandhar as a drug-free city, 12 individuals have been referred to various de-addiction and rehabilitation centres for comprehensive treatment and support.
