Dr Preeti Yadav Shares sweets, gifts and festive cheer with young girls and children
Patiala News (Pawan Dhupar): Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav today visited SDKS Yadwindra Puran Bal Niketan, Patiala, and celebrated a Green and Community Diwali with the children and young girls residing there.
Dr. Preeti Yadav shared sweets, gifts, and festive cheer, conveying warm wishes for a joyous and eco-friendly Diwali. She said that festivals become more meaningful when celebrated with those who may not have families of their own but are a cherished part of our community.
“It is our collective duty to bring happiness into their lives and make them feel included in the celebrations,” said Dr. Preeti Yadav, extending greetings for Diwali and Bandi Chhor Divas. She also encouraged everyone to celebrate Diwali in an environmentally responsible way by avoiding firecrackers and promoting a clean, green, and safe festival.
The Deputy Commissioner also assured all possible assistance from the district administration for the welfare of the children and young girls at the institution.
The visit filled the premises with joy as the children interacted with DC Dr. Preeti Yadav and expressed their happiness over the celebration.
Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Pritpal Singh Sidhu, and Manager of Puran Bal Niketan, Ms. Pooja, were also present on the occasion.
