Digital X-Ray Machine Formally Inaugurated by Sant Seechewal

Kapurthala News: A digital X-ray machine was formally inaugurated at the District Civil Hospital, Kapurthala, by Rajya Sabha Member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal. The machine was installed with a grant of ₹16 lakh provided by Sant Seechewal from his MP Local Area Development Fund. Doctors at the civil hospital stated that at the time of its purchase, no other government hospital in the Doaba region had such an advanced digital X-ray machine.

On his arrival at the hospital, Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal was given a warm welcome by Civil Surgeon Kapurthala Dr. Sanjeev Bhagat and SDM Dr. Irwin Kaur, who presented him with bouquets.

Addressing those present on the occasion, Sant Seechewal said that the doctors of the civil hospital had requested a digital X-ray machine, which he ensured was provided through his MP fund. He said he was pleased to formally inaugurate the machine today for the benefit of patients at the Civil Hospital, Kapurthala. He emphasized that he would ensure no health institution faces any shortage of equipment or medical facilities, especially in matters related to public health.

Referring to the Chief Minister’s Health Scheme, Sant Seechewal said that the Punjab Government is launching this initiative with the objective of providing free medical treatment of up to ₹10 lakh for every section of society. He added that once implemented, people from all backgrounds would benefit from this scheme.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sanjeev Bhagat said that the digital X-ray machine has proved to be a boon for patients and that people are already availing its benefits. He assured Sant Seechewal that all health schemes of the Punjab Government would be effectively implemented and taken to the grassroots level without any shortcomings.

Several dignitaries were present on the occasion, including ACS Dr. Annu Sharma, DFPO Dr. Ravjeet Singh, DDHO Dr. Moninder Kaur, DMC Dr. Sandeep Bhola, DIO Dr. Randeep Singh, SMO Dr. Parminder Kaur, DSP Dr. Seetal Singh, Superintendent Ram Avtar, Deputy Mass Media Officers Sharandeep Singh and Sukhdiyaal Singh, BCC Jyoti Anand, along with many other officials and prominent personalities.
