Jalandhar News :A case has been registered against Jalandhar’s former councillor Rohan Sehgal
The police have registered a case against former Jalandhar councillor Rohan Sehgal. Earlier, a complaint was filed against him with the Jalandhar Police, but it was allegedly ignored after receiving recommendations in his favour.
Following this, the victim’s family went to Uttar Pradesh (UP) to seek justice, where they fought their case, and an FIR was registered against Rohan, his mother, and two others on charges of murder. The UP Police then forwarded the FIR to Jalandhar Police, after which Police Station Division No. 7 in Jalandhar registered FIR No. 179.
In August, a girl working at Rohan Sehgal’s house died. It is alleged that Rohan used his high-level connections. However, the UP Police heard the victim family’s plea, investigated the matter, and registered a case against Rohan, his mother Krishna Verma, and two others.
Police teams are conducting raids to arrest Rohan Sehgal.
