Jalandhar: A five-year-old girl died after being run over by a school bus at a private school in Adampur on Monday.
The victim, identified as Kirat, daughter of Inderjit Sabi and a resident of Udesian, was getting down from the bus when she came under its wheels, allegedly due to the negligence of the driver.
She was rushed to a private hospital in Jalandhar, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The further investigation into the matter is underway, police said.
