Majithia’s Entire Network is Being Exposed: Baltej Pannu

Harpreet’s arrest has exposed Majithia’s illegal properties: Pannu

Punjab News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab’s State General Secretary Baltej Pannu, about the Vigilance Bureau’s action in cases linked to Bikram Singh Majithia, said that under the AAP government’s zero-tolerance policy, the process of transforming the system is continuously underway. He gave this reaction after Majithia’s close associate Harpreet Gulati was sent to 6 days of police remand by the court.

Baltej Pannu stated that during the investigation in the case related to Bikram Singh Majithia, the role of several companies and individuals has come to light, one of whom is Harpreet Gulati, who was produced before the court today. The court granted him 6 days of police remand till December 6. He said that Gulati and his associate Amardeep Gulati, who were engaged in the car accessories business in 2007, had no connection with the liquor business. However, because they were close to Bikram Singh Majithia, they started doing business in some companies that were formed to control the liquor mafia after the Akali government came to power.

Pannu further said that these companies had transferred nearly ₹10 crore from time to time into the family businesses of Bikram Majithia, for which no clear reason is visible. He said that when the Vigilance Bureau called Gulati for questioning, he did not cooperate because he had no answer as to why crores of rupees were given. He stated that the crores of rupees given to firms owned by Bikram Majithia and his relatives were later moved into other firms, through which properties were purchased and loans were repaid. He said that following the court’s remand, the entire matter will now be investigated in greater depth and the truth will come out.
