Chandigarh: The trial in two cases related to former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who is lodged in Nabha’s New Jail on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, was heard on Friday in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Hardeep Singh.
During the hearing, the ADGP Prisons submitted a report regarding the request to change Majithia’s barrack. The court had earlier directed the ADGP Prisons to file the report by July 22. The matter will now be heard next on August 2.
