JALANDHAR TO ENSURE SAFETY AHEAD OF INDEPENDENCE DAY
Jalandhar News: In a proactive step to enhance public safety in anticipation of Independence Day, the Commissionerate Police, Jalandhar, have intensified security measures at railway stations, particularly during night hours.
Commissioner of Police,Smt. Dhanpreet Kaur, along with senior police officials, conducted a special night-time inspection at Cantt Railway Station. Simultaneously, DCP (Law & Order), Sh. Naresh Dogra, accompanied by ADCP-I and the concerned SHO, led a comprehensive search operation at the City Railway Station. Railway Station Surranussi was also covered during the operation. The search operations were carried out in coordination with the RPF police with joint police teams thoroughly checking suspected individuals and baggage to eliminate any potential threats.
The Commissionerate Police Jalandhar reaffirm their steadfast commitment to maintaining law and order, not only during the Independence Day celebrations but also in the days beyond.
