Startup Expo was center of attraction during the complete visit

Punjab E News: Members of NITI Aayog, Government of India and Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) IIT Delhi team reached I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) on Thursday. On this approach, Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Susheel Mittal welcomed them in his office. Registrar Dr. Navdeepak Sandhu accompanied them. The purpose of the team to reach the university was to promote entrepreneurship skills among young students, encourage the efforts of the university and discuss with investors and mentors associated with the university.

On this occasion, a grand startup expo was also organized in the university campus. This expo was the center of attraction during the complete visit. The responsibility of this visit was taken by the team of the Business Incubation Center (BIC) of the University under the command of Dean (R&D) Prof. (Dr.) Yadvinder Singh Brar and Associate Professor Dr. Neel Kanth Grover, Incharge BIC.

Visit Coordinator Dr. Mrigendra Singh Bedi shared that the members of NITI Aayog Government of India and FITT team met investors and mentors associated with the university. These included Dr. Munish Jindal (CEO Hover Robotics), Amit Madan (Founder A Square Media), Anima Mishra (Founder Ikara Financial Services), Govindpreet Singh (Founder Mahavir Technology), Charan Kamal (Motivational Speaker and Investor). The mentors included Engineer Amardev, Hitesh Gulati, Robina Mittal, Dr. Girish Sapra, Dr. Atipriya, Dr. Bikram, Ashish Mehta, Dr. Varun Joshi and Dr. Ashish Arora. All the team members visited the Startup Expo and interacted with initiators. The team appreciated the efforts being made by IKGPTU for the better and secure future of the students.
