Nitin Kohli Honors CM’s OSD with Book Instead of a Bouquet; Meeting Held at CM’s Residence

Punjab E News: Today in Jalandhar, a courtesy meeting took place at the residence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann between the Chief Minister’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Rajbir Singh Ghuman, and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jalandhar Central In-charge and President of Punjab Hockey, Nitin Kohli. This meeting proved to be a significant step towards advancing issues related to mutual cooperation and development.
On this occasion, Nitin Kohli expressed his respect by presenting a book instead of a traditional bouquet—an initiative aimed at conveying a positive and knowledge-centric message. Jalandhar Mayor Vaneet Dhir and Chairman Gagandeep Singh Ahluwalia were also notably present during this meeting and shared their insights regarding development-related matters.
During the meeting, Nitin Kohli held detailed discussions on key issues pertinent to the Jalandhar Central constituency, such as strengthening infrastructure, sanitation systems, traffic management, and improving the government amenities available to the public. He emphasized the need to ensure the swift and effective resolution of public grievances so that citizens do not have to face any form of inconvenience.
During the meeting, Nitin Kohli—who also serves as the Vice President of Hockey India—held specific discussions regarding the upcoming Asian Hockey Championship. He stated that Jalandhar would play a pivotal role in this major sporting event, thereby garnering new recognition for the city at both national and international levels. Furthermore, this would foster increased interest in sports among the youth and strengthen the city’s sporting culture.
Nitin Kohli affirmed that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, priority is being accorded to public welfare and developmental initiatives, and that every possible effort will be made to ensure the holistic development of Jalandhar Central. He expressed confidence that, through the cooperation of the government and the administration, the city’s challenges would be resolved swiftly and effectively.
