PunjabENews: In view of the security arrangements for the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Additional District Magistrate-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Amaninder Kaur has declared the entire district of Jalandhar as a ‘No Flying Zone’ from January 30 to February 1, 2026.
The orders have been issued under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, exercising the powers vested in the district administration to ensure the safety and security of the Prime Minister.
As per the orders, the operation of any civil remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS), drones, helicopters, or any other aerial devices within the territorial limits of district Jalandhar has been strictly prohibited. However, this restriction will not apply to aircraft or helicopters used by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and other VVIPs.
The orders will remain in force from January 30, 2026, to February 1, 2026.
