Pannu questions Congress President Raja Warring and Pratap Bajwa: Why are Congress leaders silent on the allegations of ₹350 crore?

AAP Questions Congress: What Is the Real Story Behind the ‘Game’ of ₹500 Crore and ₹350 Crore?

Punjab News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab General Secretary Baltej Pannu launched a sharp attack on the Congress party for not answering questions related to the alleged “sale” of the Chief Minister’s chair for ₹500 crore and ₹350 crore in Congress.

Addressing a press conference, Pannu asked why Congress is refusing to answer what this game of ₹500 crore and ₹350 crore really is. He said that to divert the attention of the people, Congress first suspended Navjot Kaur Sidhu from the party overnight. Then, Congress leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa served a legal notice to Navjot Kaur Sidhu. Will this notice-drama give Punjabis an answer to the question of whether the CM’s chair was up for sale?

Pannu also asked the Congress what the real story behind this money is. From where was this money collected? Was it extorted from industries, private schools, hospitals, or was this collection done by creating “files” the way Captain Amarinder Singh often talks about? Why were there two different rates? Was ₹500 crore for a full 5-year term, or was ₹350 crore for the remaining term after Captain Amarinder Singh was removed?

Pannu also demanded clarification from Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar on this matter. He said that since Jakhar himself has been the president of the Congress, he would know who was receiving the ₹350 crore and with whom the ₹500 crore deal was being negotiated. When Jakhar sahib himself was in the race for the CM post, he too must have been asked for ₹350 crore. Jakhar sahib should tell the public who demanded this money from him.

Pannu appealed to BJP Working President Ashwani Sharma that he should seat now his own party’s leaders Jakhar sahib and Captain Amarinder Singh together and reveal the truth to the people of Punjab. He should ask Captain Amarinder Singh how much money he gave to whom when he became CM and in what form this collection happened. Did any portion of this collection also go to our neighbouring country? This too should be clarified by Captain Amarinder Singh.

Pannu said that instead of answering questions, Congress is issuing notices. Questioning Randhawa for sending a notice to Navjot Kaur, Pannu asked why he did not send a legal notice a few months ago when the mother of a gangster had levelled allegations against him.

Pannu said it is surprising that Punjab Congress President Raja Warring, Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa and Charanjit Singh Channi, all of whom are facing allegations of receiving/giving ₹350 crore, have not responded so far. Why are they silent? He also challenged Navjot Kaur Sidhu to tell the people of Punjab what evidence and files she has.
