Launched on 17 October 2025, Project CHETNA has rapidly scaled to 70+ schools Covering 15000 students transforming classrooms through structured planning, digital monitoring, standardized trainingmodules, and the Say–Do–Ask methodology. The project focuses on six critical themes—Digital Literacy, Financial Awareness, Gender Sensitivity, Sanitation & Hygiene, First Aid &

The project covers six major themes: Digital Literacy, Financial Awareness, Gender Sensitivity, Sanitation & Hygiene, First Aid & Emergency Response, and Career Guidance. Every Friday, teachers across participating schools conduct CHETNA sessions
featuring demonstrations, hands-on tasks, and scenario-based learning. Project also strengthened community engagement through exposure visits that allowed students to interact with district officials and witness governance firsthand, the project fostered transparency,
confidence, and civic awareness.
The initiative has already begun transforming students’ lives. Many now confidently fill bank
deposit slips and cheques, skills they previously found difficult. Others shared that they can
differentiate between a crepe bandage and a regular bandage, allowing them to support
family members during minor injuries.
Students also praised the impact of the digital literacy modules. Muskan and Bhavesh from
GSSS Santokhpura, who also won the competitions, shared how meaningful the sessions were. “The cyber security videos made us aware of cyber criminals.” “The sessions taught us to keep passwords confidential and stay safe online. Discussing
real incidents helped a lot.” Teachers echoed this sentiment, calling the topics “informative,
relevant, and much needed.”
The grand finale on 28 November 2025 brought together students from across the district, reflecting Project CHETNA’s wide impact. Hon’ble DC Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal IAS along with Assistant Commissioner Mukilan, addressed the students and encouraged them to carry their learning beyond the classroom. impacts families and communities. He applauded the students’ confidence and preparedness, noting that “skills like financial awareness, digital safety, and first aid are not just
