Punjab E News: The Punjab government on Monday ordered a significant reshuffle of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers,
According to the orders, Naresh Arora, IPS (1994 batch), who was serving as Special DGP, Punjab State Human Rights Commission (PSHRC), Chandigarh, has been posted as Special DGP, Human Rights, Punjab, while continuing to hold additional charge of Special DGP, PSHRC, Chandigarh.
S.S. Srivastava, IPS (1994 batch) has been shifted from Special DGP, Security, Punjab to Special DGP, Headquarters, Punjab, Chandigarh.
P.K. Sinha, IPS (1994 batch), earlier holding charge of Special DGP, Intelligence, Punjab, and Chief Director, Vigilance Bureau, has now been posted as Chief Director, Vigilance Bureau, Punjab.
Dr. Kaustubh Sharma, IPS (2001 batch) has been transferred from ADGP, Human Rights, Punjab and posted as ADGP, Security, Punjab, Chandigarh.
Dr. Sukhchain Singh, IPS (2003 batch) has been shifted from IGP, Headquarters, Punjab to IGP, Intelligence, Punjab, SAS Nagar, where he will serve as Head of the Wing.
Sandeep Goel, IPS (2011 batch), presently DIG, Border Range, Amritsar, has been posted as DIG, AGTF-2, Ludhiana, while retaining additional charge of DIG, Border Range, Amritsar.
Maninder Singh, IPS (2019 batch), SSP Ropar, has been given additional responsibility as AIG, Welfare, Punjab, while continuing as SSP Ropar.
Kanwaldeep Singh, IPS, has been transferred from AIG, Crime, BOL, Punjab to AIG, Personnel-I, Punjab, Chandigarh.
