Chandigarh: Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said on Tuesday that the state collected 44 percent more GST revenue in June compared to the same month last year.
Addressing reporters at Punjab Bhawan, Cheema said the GST revenue for June stood at Rs 2,379.90 crore, which is Rs 732 crore higher than the Rs 1,647 crore collected in June 2024.
The state government also honoured the five highest taxpayers in Punjab for the month of June.
