Removing weak & arrogant leader who misuses agencies and powers solely to win elections is Deshbhakti: Manish Sisodia

Country doesn’t need Prime Minister who kneels before America & China; it needs educated, courageous, and ‘kattar imaandar’ Prime Minister: Manish Sisodia

NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Punjab Prabhari and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia called for the Prime Minister to be voted out, asserting that removing a weak and arrogant leader who misuses investigative agencies and state machinery for electoral gain is also Deshbhakti (patriotism).

The senior AAP leader stated that the country is being run through dictatorial use of central agencies and needs instead a well-educated, courageous and incorruptible PM who builds schools and hospitals and creates jobs. He said Arvind Kejriwal embodies these qualities and has already proven his capability through governance in Delhi.

Addressing a mega public rally at Jantar Mantar, Senior AAP leader and Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia said the party was born at Jantar Mantar and has since delivered historic work in Delhi and Punjab. “In just 13 years, the party has elected legislators in Delhi, Gujarat, Punjab and Goa. This historic party was born under a neem tree at Jantar Mantar and has gone on to achieve historic milestones,” he said.

“Alongside those achievements, its leaders have also faced the most historic false allegations in the history of independent India,” Manish Sisodia said and highlighted how Arvind Kejriwal and his team have firmly confronted conspiracies, lies and harassment.

“Yet they stand again at Jantar Mantar after being declared spotless by the court. It is not merely political platforms saying Arvind Kejriwal is staunchly honest; the court itself is saying so,” he said.

Referring to a proverb, Manish Sisodia said that no matter how clever a person is, one cannot pass through a room full of soot without getting stained. “People used to say politics is such a soot-filled room where some stain is inevitable,” he said and saluted Arvind Kejriwal’s politics, which not only passed through that soot-filled room but even through prison cells without acquiring a single stain.

“Arvind Kejriwal, his politics, his government and his team remain unblemished, and the Aam Aadmi Party has emerged completely clean,” Manish Sisodia asserted.

Speaking about his background, the AAP Punjab Prabhari said his grandfather served in the army, his father was a government school teacher, and his maternal grandfather was a freedom fighter. The patriotism instilled in him by his family, he said, found direction through Arvind Kejriwal, leading him to believe that building quality schools and hospitals, creating jobs for youth, and supporting businesses constitute true patriotism.

After ten years of political experience and struggles, Manish Sisodia said the greatest need today is to free India from Narendra Modi, and that this too must be included in the definition of patriotism. “Freeing the country from PM Modi’s oppression is today’s real patriotism. Liberating the nation from a ‘chauthi-pass raja’ (4th grade pass out) consumed by power is patriotism,” he said.

The Senior AAP leader further said, “PM Modi misuses ED, CBI, the Election Commission, Delhi Police, all institutions and the entire government to win elections and remain in power. The country does not need a Prime Minister who stays in office by misusing investigative agencies.”

He added that India does not need a Prime Minister who bows before Pakistan under American pressure, who shuts his eyes when China intrudes into Indian territory, or who remains silent when the US President insults India. “Nor does the country need a leader who merely grins across the world after stepping off airplanes and about whom global power brokers boast that they can make him dance whenever they wish,” he stated.

“India needs a brave, educated, farsighted and staunchly honest Prime Minister who speaks about schools, hospitals, employment and business. According to him, only Arvind Kejriwal fits that description,” he continued.

Manish Sisodia reminded AAP karyakartas that Arvind Kejriwal reached power because they showed hard work and courage in every street, after which PM Modi removed him through fabricated stories. He urged workers to once again work with determination, shed blood and sweat, show courage, and confront ED and CBI.

The former Delhi Deputy CM further assured Arvind Kejriwal that the courage of the people stands with him, and that every patriot in the country should have one dream: to remove Narendra Modi and bring Arvind Kejriwal to power.

During the event, Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said, “The case against Arvind Kejriwal was fabricated because he emerged from an anti-corruption movement and was running an honest government in Delhi.” On one side, he said, is PM Modi’s ‘double-engine’ government where surgeries in UP happen by candlelight and people cannot get hospital beds or ambulances at the time of death.

“On the other side is Arvind Kejriwal, who established mohalla clinics, provided free medicines and free tests. While BJP and PM Modi give contracts to Adani to sell expensive electricity, Arvind Kejriwal provided free power and clean water to every household,” Sanjay Singh continued. PM Modi, he said, feared that if Arvind Kejriwal’s politics of work spread nationwide, his politics of hatred would collapse.

Sanjay Singh said there is not a single piece of evidence against Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and 23 others on which a case could proceed. “Out of millions of cases, this is one where the court did not even consider the matter fit for trial. Since the verdict, BJP leaders have been repeating that they have plenty of evidence and that the evidence was tampered with, but the court established that no scam had occurred,” he added.

He further said that PM Modi and BJP should not engage in cowardly politics of conspiracies and backdoor attacks; if they have courage, they should fight openly. “Every AAP worker will respond. AAP and its workers were born from movements and have fought PM Modi from the streets to Parliament and will continue to do so,” he said.

AAP Delhi state President Saurabh Bharadwaj said that when AAP MLA Mehraj Malik from Doda in Jammu and Kashmir leads a movement, the Prime Minister orders that he be jailed out of fear he might snatch away his power. “Similarly, Ladakh climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, following Gandhian methods, has been jailed for 157 days for peaceful protest because the Prime Minister fears losing power to any movement,” he highlighted.

He said the BJP will never be forgiven in the court of the Almighty. “PM Modi’s rule will end at the hands of Arvind Kejriwal, and the countdown to the PM Modi government has begun from today,” he said.

Saurabh Bharadwaj also stated that the BJP government and the Lieutenant Governor have dismissed thousands of young workers, including bus marshals, conductors, and nurses and pharmacy staff from mohalla clinics. “Arvind Kejriwal and AAP are raising the voices of all those rendered unemployed,” he added.

He fuether said BJP’s conspiracies and false cases against AAP leaders have been exposed in court, which affirmed that Arvind Kejriwal was, is and will remain staunchly honest.

AAP Leader of Opposition (LoP) Atishi said previous governments claimed they lacked funds to build schools, hospitals and roads, but Arvind Kejriwal proved that honest politics ensures resources for everything. “Earlier governments lacked intent, not money, whereas Arvind Kejriwal has that intent in abundance. BJP feared that if honest politics succeeded, people across India would demand good schools, mohalla clinics and governance,” she said.

“Out of that fear, mud was thrown at Arvind Kejriwal and conspiracies were hatched leading to the arrests of Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, Satyendar Jain and Manish Sisodia,” he emphasised. Yet CBI and ED did not recover even a single rupee of corruption from any leader’s home, which she said proves their honesty.

She added that the entire country is witnessing PM Modi’s oppression, which has affected not only AAP but also 10,000 dismissed bus marshals, conductors, drivers and mohalla clinic doctors and compounders. “Whenever a tyrant’s oppression increases, someone inevitably emerges to end it,” she asserted and urged PM Modi to fear at least God if not the courts or the Constitution, saying God will end this oppression.

Gujarat in-charge Gopal Rai said AAP’s top leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, have returned vindicated from false cases, carrying the banner of honesty. He praised the trial court judge’s courage in delivering a historic verdict in an era of darkness and injustice.

Gopal Rai said, “Arvind Kejriwal will always remain staunchly honest regardless of BJP’s rise or fall.” He also sharply attacked the Congress for calling the verdict a political arrangement.

Gopal Rai said AAP will again form the government in Punjab with a massive majority based on its work, without needing anyone’s favour. In Gujarat, he said, despite public support for 30 years, Congress repeatedly surrendered before BJP and now even loses deposits in by-elections. “The people of Gujarat have understood the BJP-Congress nexus and will form an AAP government this time,” he noted.

Gujarat AAP president Isudan Gadhvi said Gujarat was a major reason behind the imprisonment of AAP’s top leaders because Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain exposed 30 years of BJP rule there. “When Manish Sisodia revealed the poor condition of schools in the education minister’s constituency and SatyendarJain presented the mohalla clinic model, BJP conspired to jail them,” he said.

Isudan Gadhvi recalled that pressure from AAP during the 2022 Gujarat elections forced PM Modi to launch a model school in a tent. He said, “Gujarat now awaits Arvind Kejriwal and that honest politics with good schools and hospitals will be established there in 2027.”

Goa AAP president Valmiki Naik said attempts were made to link the so-called liquor case to the Goa elections, spreading propaganda that ₹45 crore out of ₹100 crore was spent there, whereas not even 45 paise was spent. “This malicious misinformation caused the party great embarrassment in Goa, but after the court completely dismissed the fabricated case, those who spread lies cannot even meet their eyes now,” he asserted.

Valmiki Naik added that Delhi’s AAP government spent ₹6 lakh crore over 10 years on education, health, electricity, water, buses and other services with full honesty, which forced BJP to fabricate a fake ₹100 crore case that has now been thrown out by the court.
