Rs 16 crore Trauma Centre in Tarn Taran and ₹7 crore Maternity & Child Care Centre in Patti, Two Major Works of AAP Government in Tarn Taran: Dr. Balbir Singh

Tarn Taran News: The Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has completely transformed this border district of Tarn Taran, which had long been neglected by previous governments. Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said that the state government has taken revolutionary steps in the field of healthcare. He expressed confidence that the people of Tarn Taran will vote overwhelmingly in favour of Harmeet Singh Sandhu to continue this journey of development.

Cabinet Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, while giving details of the development works carried out by the AAP government in Tarn Taran district, said that under the commitment to provide better healthcare facilities to the common people, the construction of an ultra-modern Critical Care Block/Trauma Centre at the Civil Hospital Tarn Taran, at a cost of ₹16 crore, is progressing rapidly. He assured that this centre will be dedicated to the service of the people by the end of this year, and it will prove to be a lifesaver for the region.

In addition, Dr. Balbir Singh informed that the construction of a 30-bed Maternity and Child Healthcare Centre at the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Patti, at a cost of ₹7 crore, is almost complete and will soon be dedicated to the residents of the area. He said this reflects the Mann government’s seriousness towards the health of mothers and children.

Dr. Balbir Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Clinics have become the backbone of the healthcare revolution in Punjab. Expressing satisfaction, he stated that as per the new directions of the Punjab government, these clinics have now also started providing rabies vaccination and family planning services, which has brought great relief to the general public.

The Minister also mentioned Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s Farishtey Scheme, saying that it is saving precious lives. Under this scheme, any good person who helps a road accident victim reach the hospital is given an honorarium of ₹2000. He informed that in Tarn Taran district, a total of 26 hospitals, including 15 private and 11 government hospitals, have been empanelled under this scheme to ensure that every precious life gets immediate medical care.

The Cabinet Minister made a strong appeal to the residents of the constituency to strengthen the hands of the AAP government for the holistic development of Tarn Taran and to further advance this wave of progress by pressing the ‘jharoo’ button and ensuring a massive victory for party candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu.
