Jalandhar News: Under the initiative of the Punjab Government, Mega PTM, Government School Alowal, Nakodar was attended as the chief guest by SSP Harvinder Singh Virk, Senior Superintendent of Police Jalandhar Rural.
Onkar Singh Brar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sub-Division Nakodar and Harminder Singh, Sub Inspector/SHO Police Station City Nakodar were also present on the occasion.
SSP. Harvinder Singh Virk, during his address, said that the role of teachers and parents is very important in the overall development of children. He emphasized that teachers should not only impart academic education but also inculcate moral values, discipline and good manners in children.
SSP Sahib said that children are the future of the country and they can be taken forward towards a bright future only by giving them the right direction, positive thinking and motivation to work hard. He appealed to the parents to maintain friendly relations with the children and to pay constant attention to their studies and behavior.
At the end of the event, the school management, teachers and parents thanked the police administration and appreciated such cooperative and awareness-raising initiatives.
