Punjab News: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that the position of Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib is very high and respectable. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee(SGPC) is being misused for political interest by a family who has full control over it. Resultantly, damaging the dignity of SGPC.
He requested the Jathedar Gargaj Sahib not to protect the family who have confessed their sins before Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Gargaj Sahib should play the role as Jathedar for the entire Panth.
He stressed that legal action should be taken against the culprits those involved in 328 missing Sarrops of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. But strict action should also be taken against the culprits in accordance with Panthic rituals. It is the need of the hour to remember the fearless role of Jathedar Akali Phula Singh Ji on this time.
