Punjab News: Punjab government today transferred 3 IAS Officers.
According to the orders, Anindita Mitra, IAS (2007) has been appointed as the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab-cum-Administrative Secretary, Elections (General Elections Wing). She takes charge in place of Sibin C., IAS. Prior to this, she was serving as Administrative Secretary, Higher Education & Languages, along with additional charge of School Education and Managing Director, Punjab Infrastructure Development Board.
Sonali Giri, IAS (2009) has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. While continuing as Managing Director, PUNSUP, Administrative Secretary-cum-Director, Civil Aviation, and Secretary, Revenue & Rehabilitation, she has also been given the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, School Education, and Administrative Secretary, Higher Education & Languages, following the transfer of Anindita Mitra.
Girish Dayalan, IAS (2011) will continue as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab, and Managing Director, Punjab State Cooperative Bank Limited, and has been assigned the additional charge of Managing Director, Punjab Infrastructure Development Board, after the relief of Anindita Mitra.
