Major boost for AAP as Vimukt Jaati Morcha extends unconditional support; Cabinet Minister Bhullar and MLA Nijjar welcome the decision
Tarn Taran Election News: The position of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election received a significant boost today when the Vimukt Jaati Welfare Morcha, Punjab, announced its support for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu. The Morcha’s State President, Jagdish Raj Dhaliwal, along with his entire team, reached Tarn Taran to make the formal announcement. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, MLA Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, and senior leader Jagroop Singh Sekhwan were present.
Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar welcomed the Morcha’s decision, stating that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had recently held a meeting with a delegation from the Morcha and assured them that their long-pending demands would be addressed soon.
Jagdish Raj Dhaliwal said that after Chief Minister Mann gave his assurance to take up and resolve the issues of the Vimukt communities with seriousness and priority, the Morcha unanimously decided to extend its full support to the AAP candidate. He appealed to all members of the community to cast every single vote in favour of Harmeet Singh Sandhu.
MLA Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar welcomed the Morcha leaders into the party and said that AAP is a party of the poor and the marginalized, committed to addressing their issues on a priority basis.
Senior leader Jagroop Singh Sekhwan thanked the Morcha for its unconditional support and said that the Aam Aadmi Party is fully committed to resolving all issues faced by the Vimukt communities.
