]]> Amritsar: After an emergency gathering at Sri Akal Takht on Saturday evening, the Panj Singh Sahiban rejected the decisions taken by the Panj Pyaras of Takht Sri Patna Sahib on May 21 and today, terming them a gross violation of Akal Takht directives and an attempt to undermine its supremacy.

In this matter, Additional Head Granthi of Takht Sri Patna Sahib, Bhai Gurdial Singh, and committee members Harpal Singh Johal and Dr. Gurmeet Singh have been declared salaried employees.

The president of the Takht Sri Patna Sahib Prabandhak Committee, Jagjit Singh Sohi, along with other committee members, has been directed to appear before the Akal Takht within 15 days to present their side.
