]]> Chandigarh: The Election Commission has sought a panel of three eligible officers for consideration for the post of Ludhiana Police Commissioner, ahead of the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election scheduled for June 19.

In a letter to the Additional Secretary of the Punjab Home Department, the EC said the panel should comprise officers with appropriate seniority and experience, in accordance with the prescribed rules.
