]]> Mohali: Former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who is lodged in Nabha’s New Jail on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, failed to get any relief from a Mohali court on Tuesday.

His bail application was taken up for hearing in the court, where both the prosecution and defence presented their arguments.

The court posted the matter for further hearing on August 13.

Meanwhile, the hearing on Majithia’s plea seeking a change of barrack in jail has been scheduled for August 21.
