New Delhi: A Delhi court today set aside summons issued to Chief Minister Atishi in a defamation case filed by BJP leader Praveen Shankar Kapoor.<\/p>\n

The order was passed by Special Judge Vishal Gogne following an appeal by the Aam Aadmi Party leader against the magisterial court’s earlier decision.<\/p>\n

Atishi\u2019s counsel argued that her remarks were directed at the BJP as a party and not at Kapoor individually.<\/p>\n

Taking note of this submission, the court ruled that the alleged defamatory statement did not amount to personal defamation against the complainant.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
