\nMansa, January 30:
\nAn important meeting was held with the revenue officers at the New Conference Hall of the District Administrative Complex under the leadership of Commissioner Faridkot Division Mr. Manjit Singh Brar regarding various issues related to the revenue department. During this, he asked the officers to expedite the recovery cases and ensure that the pending court cases are disposed of in time. He also directed to conduct Girdawari, Jamabandi, investigation and markings in a timely manner.
\nAfter this, Commissioner Shri Manjit Singh Brar held a meeting with the District Level Environment Committee. During the meeting, a detailed review was made of the works related to environmental cleanliness as well as waste management, sewerage treatment plant and cleanliness.
\nThe Commissioner instructed all the executive officers to ensure 100 percent management of wet and dry waste. He also ordered the concerned officers to take strict action against those using plastic in view of making the district plastic free. He said that checking of plastic envelopes should also be ensured. He told the officers that the National Green Tribunal (NGT) is completely serious in view of the cleanliness of the environment. Therefore, the concerned officers should ensure that they work diligently to keep the district green and clean so that the cleanliness of the environment can be maintained. He said that according to the guidelines of NGT, it is necessary to dispose of old computers in government departments keeping in mind e-waste management.
\nDuring the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kulwant Singh instructed the officers of the concerned departments to collect wet and dry waste separately and make proper arrangements for it, so that the cooperation of the common people can also be obtained in cleaning the city and villages. He asked all the officers to take necessary action against those who throw garbage in public places under their jurisdiction. He also instructed to do plantation at appropriate places.
\nOn this occasion, discussions were held with the concerned departments on plastic waste management, wastewater treatment, single-use plastic prevention, air pollution and other environmental issues.
\nOn this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Mr. Nirmal Osepchan, SDM Sardulgarh Mr. Nitesh Kumar Jain, SDM Mansa Mr. Kala Ram Kansal, SDM Budhlada Mr. Gagandeep Singh, District Development and Panchayat Officer Mr. Jaswant Singh Baraich and Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildars besides officers and employees of various departments were present.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
