Chandigarh: A court has sentenced pastor Bajinder Singh to life imprisonment in a 2018 rape case. On March 28, a Mohali court found him guilty of sexual assault and announced that the sentence would be pronounced on April 1.<\/p>\n
The case involves allegations by a Zirakpur-based woman, who accused the pastor of forcing her into a relationship on the pretext of taking her abroad. She also alleged that he made an obscene video of her.<\/p>\n
An FIR was registered on April 20, 2018, at Zirakpur police station under various sections of the IPC and the IT Act.<\/p>\n
