New Delhi: The Delhi Police have arrested a 36-year-old Haryana-based agent, Gagandeep Singh, for allegedly arranging fake Poland visas for individuals attempting to travel abroad. Singh was wanted in a visa fraud case registered in 2021, an official said.<\/p>\n
Another agent involved in the case, identified as Kulwinder, remains absconding.<\/p>\n
According to police, Singh, a resident of Kurukshetra, is also implicated in two other visa fraud cases at the Delhi airport.<\/p>\n
Additional Commissioner of Police (IGI Airport) Usha Ragnani said that on September 6, 2021, two Punjab-based passengers, Chandra Prakash (22) and Sarabjit (23), were caught at Delhi airport with fake Poland visas during immigration clearance.<\/p>\n
During interrogation, the passengers admitted to paying Rs 3 lakh each to Kulwinder, who had promised to help them reach Portugal via Poland.<\/p>\n
They alleged that Kulwinder and his associates arranged their fake visas and travel tickets.<\/p>\n
Police are continuing their investigation to locate Kulwinder and identify other individuals involved in the visa fraud network.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
