New Delhi: In a case that has shocked Delhi\u2019s Bawana area, a man has accused his wife of hiding five previous marriages and attacking him before fleeing.<\/p>\n
Suraj, a resident of Auchandi village, said he married Jyoti on February 14, 2024, after meeting her at a religious event in December 2023. Their relationship, however, lasted just one and a half months.<\/p>\n
Suraj claimed that shortly after marriage, Jyoti announced she was pregnant, which led to frequent arguments.<\/p>\n
He alleged that during one such fight, she poured boiling water on him and ran away. \u201cShe stayed with me for only one and a half months,\u201d he said, holding their seven-month-old daughter in his lap.<\/p>\n
After her disappearance, Suraj said he discovered through Jyoti\u2019s Google history and cloud drive that she had been married five times before. He also found documents and videos confirming the previous weddings.<\/p>\n
According to him, Jyoti followed a disturbing pattern\u2014forcing men into marriage by threatening them with false rape cases, then filing assault complaints, leaving them, and marrying someone else.<\/p>\n
Police have booked Jyoti for concealing her marital history and attempt to commit culpable homicide. She has been missing for three months. The court has rejected her bail application, and police are actively searching for her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
