Chandigarh: Fresh details have emerged in the case of Punjab Police head constable and social media influencer Amandeep Kaur, who was recently arrested in Bathinda with heroin.<\/p>\n
Sources revealed that during her posting in Mansa a few years ago, Kaur was assigned to the security detail of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. However, she was removed from the post for dereliction of duty.<\/p>\n
Security in-charge Rajinder reportedly informed then SSP Mansa, Nanak Singh, about Kaur\u2019s suspicious behaviour, including frequent visits from her alleged associate Balwinder alias Sonu while she was posted at Moosewala\u2019s residence. Following this, she was taken off the assignment.<\/p>\n
Amandeep Kaur joined the Punjab Police in 2011 and has now been arrested for the third time in her 14-year career. Investigations have revealed a sharp mismatch between her known assets and her lifestyle.<\/p>\n
Despite officially owning only a scooty, she was living in an eight-marla kothi in a posh area of Bathinda\u2014registered in someone else’s name. Investigators suspect that multiple properties and vehicles linked to her are registered under different names to avoid detection.<\/p>\n
She also reportedly owns a Tibetan Shih Tzu dog, known for its royal lineage and high maintenance. The breed costs between Rs 60,000 and Rs 1.5 lakh in India, with upkeep expenses averaging Rs 7,000 per month.<\/p>\n
Officials have recovered an affidavit related to a new Thar vehicle, and a Bullet motorcycle was found registered in the name of her alleged associate Balwinder.
