Jalandhar: An FIR has been registered against actors Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar, director Gopichand, and producer Naveen after a complaint alleged that their film ‘Jaat’ hurt the sentiments of the Christian community.<\/p>\n
The complaint, filed by community leader Viklav Gold, accused the film of containing scenes that disrespect Jesus Christ and Christian religious practices. The film was released on April 10, just days ahead of Good Friday, which falls on April 18 this year.<\/p>\n
Gold also questioned the timing of the release, suggesting it was insensitive to the occasion.<\/p>\n
