Lahore: Pakistan has denied any role in the recent terror attack in Pagalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, claiming it \u201chas nothing to do with the incident\u201d. In its first official response, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said the country rejects terrorism in all its forms.<\/p>\n
\u201cPakistan has nothing to do with the Pagalgam terror attack,\u201d Asif said in a statement. \u201cWe do not support terrorism in any form and the local people should not be the target of terrorists.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asif also referred to the ongoing unrest in parts of India, including Nagaland, Manipur, Kashmir and Chhattisgarh, saying that protests have erupted due to internal issues. \u201cIt has arisen domestically as the government is exploiting a lot of people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
