The decision comes in the wake of the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s Pahalgam and is aimed at strengthening national security protocols.<\/p>\n<p>This large-scale exercise, the first of its kind since the 1971 India-Pakistan war, is designed to simulate emergency situations in a controlled and safe environment. According to officials, the drills will train citizens on civil defence procedures such as blackout protocols and safeguarding critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>During the exercise, security agencies may simulate war-like conditions, which could involve temporary power cuts, communication disruptions, building evacuations, and first aid response drills.
