New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday said the Indian Army carried out strikes against Pakistan with \u201cprecision, vigilance and sensitivity,\u201d ensuring that civilian areas were not impacted during the operation.<\/p>\n
Speaking at an event to mark the raising day of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Singh said, \u201cUnder the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our Indian Army has made all Indians proud. They have created a new history.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said the targets were destroyed with pinpoint accuracy as per the pre-planned strategy, without harming civilian zones. \u201cThe Army showed sensitivity by ensuring that no civilian place or populated area was affected,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Drawing a parallel with the Ramayana, Singh said, \u201cWe followed the ideals of Hanuman ji in Ashok Vatika. We killed only those who killed our innocent people.\u201d<\/p>\n
