Trump\u2019s statement follows diplomatic efforts by the US to de-escalate the situation. Earlier, Washington had urged Islamabad to reduce tensions, leading to Pakistan postponing a high-level committee meeting on the possible use of nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n
Despite the reported ceasefire agreement, India’s military had earlier launched a well-planned retaliatory operation, targeting radar sites and weapons depots at Pakistani military bases in Rafiqui, Murid, Chaklala, Rehmayarkhan, Shukur, and Chunia.<\/p>\n
