New Delhi: Tensions between India and Pakistan continued for the fourth consecutive day, with the Indian government accusing Pakistan of violating the ceasefire agreement just hours after it was announced.<\/p>\n
India had declared a ceasefire from 5 pm on Saturday, but by 9 pm, fresh firing was reported along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. Explosions were heard in Srinagar, while Pakistani drones were spotted in Udhampur, official sources said.<\/p>\n
According to Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, the ceasefire agreement, which was reached at the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) level, was breached by Pakistan.<\/p>\n
\u201cPakistan has violated the ceasefire. The Indian Army is giving a befitting response. The government has ordered strict and concrete measures,\u201d Misri said.<\/p>\n
