London: At least 50 people were injured after a car ploughed into a crowd during a ‘victory parade’ organised by fans to celebrate Liverpool\u2019s Premier League title, police said.<\/p>\n
Of the injured, 27 were admitted to hospital, with two\u2014an adult and a child\u2014reported to be in critical condition. Twenty others received treatment at the scene.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders said four of those hospitalised were children. Firefighters also rescued four people who were trapped under the vehicle following the incident.<\/p>\n
Police have arrested the driver, identified as a 53-year-old British man from the Liverpool area. Authorities said initial investigations suggest the incident is not related to militancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
