Jalandhar: A major incident of murder has been reported in Jalandhar, where advocate Parminder Singh Dhingra, president of the Sikh Student Federation, was shot dead following a dispute with neighbours.<\/p>\n
According to information received from the scene, Dhingra’s body was found on the staircase of a neighbouring house. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh, which proved fatal. Initial reports suggest that the murder was carried out by a neighbour after a quarrel over car parking escalated.<\/p>\n
Soon after the incident came to light, a large number of Federation leaders gathered outside the house. Police teams, along with forensic experts, reached the spot and sealed the area for investigation.<\/p>\n
