This significant milestone, he stated, would pave the way for Gatka to become part of international sporting events in the future. Highlighting Gatka as a prominent national sport and a form of self-defence, he emphasized its bright future and urged both boys and girls to actively participate in the sport.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Addressing the gathering, Dr. Tejinderpal Singh Nalwa, President of the Asian Gatka Federation, said under the aegis of the World Gatka Federation, the National Gatka Association of India has taken historic steps in advancing the Gatka sport. He further announced that a roadmap has been prepared for organizing even larger tournaments in the future.
