Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic personally received Modi at the airport, where he was given a ceremonial welcome.<\/p>\n
Sharing the moment on social media, Plenkovic said, \u201cWe welcomed Indian Prime Minister @narendramodi to Zagreb! This is the first visit by the Prime Minister of India \u2013 the world\u2019s most populous country, coming at a crucial geopolitical moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that both countries are now opening a new chapter in their relationship and laying the groundwork to strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.<\/p>\n
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal also called the visit a \u201chistoric milestone,\u201d posting on X, \u201cMarking a historic milestone in India-Croatia relations, the Prime Minister @narendramodi has reached Zagreb, Croatia\u2026 Prime Minister @AndrejPlenkovic was accorded a warm welcome at the airport with a ceremonial welcome.\u201d<\/p>\n
