Mumbai: Actress Shefali Jariwala, best known for her appearance in the popular music video Kanta Laga, passed away three days ago at the age of 42.<\/p>\n
Police officials said the actress collapsed at her home after consuming multiple medicines on an empty stomach, which led to a sudden drop in blood pressure.<\/p>\n
According to the police, Shefali had been fasting after offering prayers on Friday. She later took several medications, including one injection in the afternoon, which is believed to have triggered a severe reaction.<\/p>\n
\u201cHer blood pressure dropped drastically and she began shivering. She then collapsed, following which her family rushed her to a private hospital in Andheri, where doctors declared her brought dead,\u201d an officer said.<\/p>\n
Shefali\u2019s husband, actor Parag Tyagi, along with her parents and domestic help, were present at the time of the incident. So far, police have recorded statements of 10 people, including her close family members and staff.
