Ahmedabad: The Gujarat High Court on Thursday extended Asaram\u2019s temporary bail by one month, making it clear that there would be no further extension. Asaram, 86, who is serving a life sentence in a 2013 rape case, is currently out on bail on medical grounds.<\/p>\n
A division bench of Justices Ilesh Vora and P M Rawal passed the order, extending the temporary bail, which was earlier extended till July 7, by another month.<\/p>\n
Asaram\u2019s counsel had sought an extension of three months citing health reasons, but the court allowed only a month\u2019s extension, stating it would be the final one.<\/p>\n
