Singapore: A 21-year-old Indian national was sentenced to six months in jail on Friday for assaulting and abusing a classmate following a heated argument, Channel News Asia reported.<\/p>\n
Senthilkumar Vishnu Shakti, an electrician in tie engineering, confessed to intentionally causing harm to 31-year-old Nesamani Hariharan. The incident took place around 7 pm on February 15 while the victim was sitting on his bed.<\/p>\n
Senthilkumar, who was in an inebriated state, entered the Kalang hostel where both were staying and accused the victim of spying on him and reporting his work performance to the supervisor.<\/p>\n
