Mumbai: Elon Musk-owned Tesla has entered the Indian market, opening its first showroom at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. The electric vehicle maker will sell its Model Y cars in India, priced at $69,770.<\/p>\n
The showroom was inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who said the state wants to see Tesla set up its research, development, and manufacturing facilities in India.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the event, Fadnavis said Mumbai is not only the financial, commercial, and entertainment capital of India but also an entrepreneurial hub.<\/p>\n
