Flight 6E 6271, operating an Airbus A320 Neo, was diverted to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and landed safely at 9.52 pm, a source said. A full emergency was declared for the flight before its landing, the source added.<\/p>\n
In a statement, an IndiGo spokesperson said a technical snag was detected after the aircraft took off from Delhi for Manohar International Airport in Goa, prompting the crew to divert the flight to Mumbai as a precaution.<\/p>\n
The airline did not disclose the number of passengers on board or the specific nature of the malfunction. However, all passengers landed safely and were assisted at the terminal by airport staff, a Mumbai airport spokesperson said.
