The oath of office was administered by Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice Sheel Nagu at Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh, with Ghosh reading out his oath in English.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was attended by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini and Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria.<\/p>\n<p>Ghosh replaces Bandaru Dattatreya as Governor, with his appointment announced by President Droupadi Murmu on 14 July.<\/p>\n<p>Ghosh, who has previously served as the BJP president in West Bengal, said after his appointment, \u201cIt is a matter of great honour for me.
