Executive Officer (EO) Parvinder Singh Bhatti has also been transferred following allegations of negligence and failure to address public complaints.<\/p>\n<p>The action was taken on the directions of Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh, after a surprise inspection of various areas in Morinda on Tuesday morning. The minister was accompanied by local MLA Dr. Charanjit Singh during his visit to Ward Nos. 5, 6, 13, 14, 15, Rest House near Chunni Road, Old Bassi Road, and Shiv Nanda School Road.<\/p>\n<p>During the inspection, garbage was found scattered across all wards, indicating a complete breakdown in the waste collection system.
